Through hands-on experiences and age-appropriate goals, your child will learn the importance of financial literacy while earning exciting rewards along the way.

Our Four Wilderness Club Branches

Each stage represents an important step in helping your child grow strong saving habits, just like the wilderness explorer they’re becoming.

Sprout Savers Ages 0-4

Parents and grandparents can begin making deposits to start saving for their Wilderness Club child.

Forest Friends Ages 5-9

Earn Buford Bucks* every time a child makes a deposit accompanied by a parent or grandparent. Your bucks can help you earn rewards to popular retailers and restaurants!

Eagle Earners Ages 10-13

Grow your savings and continue to earn exciting rewards using their Buford Bucks*!

Park Rangers Ages 14-18

Build independence and earn more! Our teen club members receive a Membership Card* sticker for each $20 deposit made to their savings account. Once 10 stickers are collected, they can redeem them for a gift card from popular retailers and restaurants including Chick-fil-a, Amazon, Starbucks, Dick’s Sporting Goods and more!

How to Redeem Rewards

For Park Rangers (14–18):

1. Earn 10 Membership Card stickers*.
2. Complete a Wilderness Savings Club Redemption Form.
3. Submit the form to any NCFCU employee.
4. Receive your gift card in 7–10 days.
