Lemonade will walk you through the step-by-step process to provide you with a low insurance quote. You will be prompted to answer some questions about your home, apartment or condo you are trying to insure, including what type of coverage you are seeking and any additional coverage(s) you would like to add to your premium. Second, you will verify your personal information including the address of the property you are seeking a quote for. Lemonade will generate an instant quote, and if you are satisfied with your quote you can take out your policy right in the app. Since your policy will be established in the NCFCU mobile app, you can establish your monthly payment to be automatically paid from the NCFCU account of your choice.

For members that utilize our NCFCU mobile app to manage their accounts, you have access to BILLSHARK™. Located under the drop-down menu named “Lower Bills”(next to the $), the NCFCU mobile app prompts you through 3 easy steps to lower your monthly cost on various monthly expenses, including Cable TV, Internet, Wireless Telephone, Landline Telephone, Satellite Radio and Home Security.

How does it work? First, you will submit a copy of a bill that you would like to lower using your smartphone’s camera to snap a picture or you can upload a screenshot of the bill directly to the app. BILLSHARK’s experts deal with the hassle of negotiating directly with your provider, so you don’t have to. Once the negotiating is finished, your BILLSHARK representative will contact you to discuss the negotiation and potential savings. Most people have a renegotiated bill from their BILLSHARK rep within 2-3 days. BILLSHARK keeps a one-time fee of 40% of the savings for their hard work, but you only pay them if they actually save your money from negotiating your bill.
