Search by make, model or monthly payment with over 4 million cars in inventory – and save your progress while researching so that you can keep track of the vehicles that interest you! Also the 2021 Fuel Economy Guide is featured on our website to ensure your new vehicle meets your fuel efficiency standards. Once you find the car of your dreams, you can begin the loan application right in GrooveCar and one of our loan officers will contact you to finalize your loan.

Here’s what you need to know about using GrooveCar:

Visit NCFCUonline.org/groovecar to get started or you can use the “Find Your Next Car” widget on our Auto Loans page (I prefer to visit the website rather than use the Widget, but to each their own).

It is my personal recommendation that you create a GrooveCar account so that you can personalize your searches and save the results. If you are an indecisive person like me, you will like that you can conduct your search, go “think about it” and then resume your search at your leisure. You can register/create an account at the top right-hand side of the website.

On the home page, please notice the 3-section search bar in the center of the page. If you already know what kind of vehicle you want to buy, either new or used, brand, make or model you can skip searching through their inventory and view only the vehicles that fit your exact credentials.

Again, if you are like me and need to weigh your options before you make a large purchase like a new vehicle, there is a very helpful tool built into GrooveCar that I personally love. On the homepage, under “Find a Car” there is a “Compare Vehicles” option. This feature allows you to choose up to 5 vehicles to compare side by side. This tool is awesome because of how detailed the search is. You can view your vehicle(s) full overview, including pictures of the inside and outside details, pricing, fuel economy, and overall safety rating. Additionally, you can compare every vehicle’s safety equipment, crash rating, Environmental Protection Agency Reports, warranties and recalls. Since NCFCU and GrooveCar paired to simplify the car buying experience for our members, there is a full breakdown of cost of the vehicle, monthly payment calculator and an option to get pre-approved for an NCFCU Auto Loan. You can also save your vehicle choices from this page for future searches.

Another avenue of searching is to search by dealers. GrooveCar allows you to search based off of preferred dealers and dealers that use NCFCU financing when selling their vehicles. You can get pre-approved for your NCFCU Auto Loan before you even set foot on the dealer’s lot. This also allows you to research the cars on their lot and determine if you would want to schedule an appointment with a dealer.

A fun feature of the GrooveCar portal is the “Create Your Own” option. This feature allows your to pick the make and model of vehicle and then choose the customized features, such as paint color, body style, interior materials, engine, technology and entertainment, tires and rims and so much more. This tool is a great way to evaluate which features of a vehicle are necessities and which are cost-altering preferences.

Once you have finished researching your vehicle choice, you can get pre-approved for an NCFCU Auto Loan right in the GrooveCar portal.
