Control your finances with these digital tools
Online and mobile banking are becoming more popular than ever before. NCFCU wants you to have complete control over your finances from wherever you are. Our online banking system has two tools designed to make your finances easier to manage than ever.
Opt-in to eStatements
On the day your statement is posted, you can view, print and save your eStatement on any smartphone, tablet or computer that you access online banking through. This eliminates the wait for your statement to arrive through “snail mail”.
Electronic statements provide a extra layer of security for your personal information. Thieves and hackers can obtain personal information necessary to access your account or steal your identity with information they can obtain through your mail. Even though statements do not list your full account number, they may be able to use information about transactions you make to obtain additional personal identifying information about you.
Also, accessing your statement electronically is more sustainable for the environment. NCFCU can reduce our carbon footprint by reducing the amount of paper required to send each one of our members a paper statement.
Establish Electronic Bill Payer for your monthly expenses
NCFCU members who have a Share Draft/Checking account and Internet access can sign-up for Electronic Bill Payment (EBP). EBP makes it easy and convenient to pay bills. Once you register through Online Banking, it’s quick and easy to schedule one-time or reoccurring payments, transfer money between institutions, and even receive payment reminders via email or text message.
To use EBP to manage your bill schedule, begin by logging on to your online banking profile. From the home screen top-menu bar, select Transfer & Pay – Electronic Bill Pay is displayed on the second tab named “Bills & Payment. You can establish your one-time or reoccurring payments by selecting “Manage Payee” on the left side of the screen. You can establish 10 reoccurring payments for free and each payment after that costs $0.50. Once you have scheduled your payments you will be able to view your scheduled payment(s), and their status of whether they are paid yet or pending, in the scheduler on the right side of the screen. Electronic Bill Payer ensures that your bills are paid on time and eliminates the need to write checks, buy stamps and mail bills in a timely manner.
