Full Time Teller
York, PA Branch. Some weekends and evenings will be necessary.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
1) The ability to interface at all levels of the organization and enjoys direct contact with members.
2) Attention to fine detail and work accurately with numbers.
3) Provide quality member service & maintain strict member confidentiality.
4) Full knowledge of all NCFCU products and services and the ability to cross sell them.
5) Ability to work with a high degree of independence.
The primary functions of the position consist of the following:
1) Provides quality member service in all aspects of the job description.
2) Performs all functions associated with the operation and the security of the branches.
3) Receives members in person and by phone, performs members’ transactions with accuracy and answers members’ questions with factual up to date information.
4) Cross sell NCFCU services and products.

Full Time Accounting Manager
Some weekends and evenings will be necessary.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
1) Ability to engage with all levels within the organization and enjoy interacting with the public.
2) Provide quality member service & maintain member confidentiality.
3) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance & 3-5 Year’s Accounting Experience Preferred.
4) Managerial Experience is a plus.
5) Ability to professionally communicate with members, co-workers, and external contacts utilizing organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
6) Must have a positive work ethic and be dependable.
7) Capability to meet and work under strict deadlines.
The primary functions of the position consist of the following:
1) Financial Management and Reporting
- Completes the preparation of monthly and annual reports as required by CUNA and the State.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
2) Accounting Operations
- Directs the functions of and monitors the daily operations of the accounting department including settlements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- The ability to interface at all levels of the organization and enjoys direct contact with the public.
- Maintains internal controls and safeguards assets to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review and reconcile mortgage and student loans monthly by the due dates.
- Oversees and completes the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts; including cash accounts, loans, and investments.
3) Regulatory Compliance
- Responds and ensures regulatory compliance and policies of NCFCU and holds employees accountable.
- Stays up to date on regulatory changes and best practices for accounting standards in the financial services industry.
- Works directly with auditors and examiners as needed.
4) Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, establish goals, and recommendations for training.
- Collaborate with team members on financial planning and strategy development.
- Support projects and initiatives that drive growth and stability within the Credit Union.
