Two $1,000 Scholarships Available

Scholarship Details

Please read through all the scholarship materials before completing the application. To properly complete the York Chapter of Credit Unions’ application, you will need to do the following:

1. Ensure you answer each and every question on your application.
2. Provide your Credit Union account number (You are eligible for this scholarship if you are a member of NCFCU).
3. Provide Letter of Acceptance from the institution you plan to attend.
4. Declare your Career Goals.
5. Provide three (3) Letters of Reference; one of which must be from your High School Guidance Counselor.
6. Submit a TYPED essay between 500 and 1,000 words in length (Discussing the role of Credit Unions in supporting their local communities. Explore how credit unions contribute to the well-being of communities through financial services, education, and community involvement. Additionally, describe your involvement in community service or volunteer work, and how it has shaped your values and goals).
7. Submit your completed application along with the above requested items by
   March 6, 2026. All requested information must be included. Incomplete or late applications will be disqualified.
